100 Black Men

100 Black Men Chapters are educating and empowering youth and their families while positively impacting communities.

The membership of 100 Black Men of America, Inc has spent the past 40 years carefully laying the foundation for success. In 1994, we installed our signature Four For The Future™, which focuses on mentoring, education, health & wellness, and economic development. We must continue to prepare individuals and institutions that can lead the way. The only way to keep pace with the current level of change is through constant learning and adapting. Leadership development is the best investment for our collective futures.

Mission Statement

– To improve the chances of success for Black men and women by encouraging the attainment of higher levels of education and through greater exposure to career and societal opportunities. To improve the quality of life of our communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans.

– The 100 Black Men selects and trains chapter members to become mentors who inspire and motivate at-risk youth through leading by example. Through one-on-one mentoring, volunteers become friends, advocates and role models for youth in their communities. Mentors nourish a sense of pride, self-confidence and competence in their mentees, which leads to greater success in family, social, academic and business situations.

– The 100 Black Men supports national scholarships and community service learning programs to promote the development of teamwork and leadership skills while fostering a sense of social responsibility in African American youth. Our programs also cover entrepreneurial, environmental awareness and technology-related issues.
