A More Perfect Union is an organization of women that trains women-at-risk to have supportive, healthy relationships.
We deliver our program, The Circle of Women, to women recovering from lethal addictions, domestic abuse and homelessness. Through the sharing of common experiences, our program engenders trust, promotes personal responsibility and demonstrates the power of strong female bonds.
A More Perfect Union, Inc. is a not-for-profit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) corporation founded in 1992.
Our program reveals the commonality among women regardless of economic and demographic differences. It is delivered in five monthly evening sessions at residential facilities for women-at-risk. Our program is presented entirely by trained volunteers at no cost to the facility or to the participants.
Our mission is to support women in:
– creating healthy, successful and productive relationships
– taking charge of their lives by being responsible for their communication and behavior
– supporting one another in achieving life goals, strengthening families and broadening spheres of contribution and influence
