Abusua Foundation is a registered Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Organization with the Registrar General’s Department (#G.14122). The Foundation is also registered with the Department of Social Welfare (# D.S.W/2648).
The Foundation operates from the former capital of the Ghana Cape Coast. Presently, Cape Coast is the capital of the Central Region of Ghana.
The Central Region is made up thirteen districts and has a population of nearly 1,700. Of the thirteen districts, Abusua works in only two of the districts Cape Coast Municipality and Elmina (Komenda-Edna-Eguaafo-Abrem District).

Our activities are under-pinned by respect for human dignity and right, social justice, transparency and accountability.
By this philosophy, we at ABUSUA respect the views of all manner of persons we come into contact, assist and or work with; irrespective of sex, age, race, ethnicity, religion or any other factor of potential discrimination.
We uphold a principle of partnership in all our dealings with benefactors, beneficiaries, donors, staff, consultants and all manner of persons with the view to achieving realistic goals and administrative quality in all projects and programmes aimed at achieving our mission and vision; including the specific project/programme objectives.

The object of all we do are: 1. To encourage voluntarism among the youth
2. To promote and preserve the GOOD in African traditional practices that promotes rights and empowerment of youths and the vulnerable.
