ADRA India is registered body recognized by the government of India under the Societies Act No. S/22732. It functions as a fully accredited faith based NGO (Non-governmental organization). It serves the entire country of India with main office headquarters at A-10/24, DLF-1, Behind Summer Field School, Gurgaon – 122 002, Haryana.

ADRA India’s general mission is:

To reflect the character of God through humanitarian and developmental activities for all people in India without regard to ethnicity, cast, gender, age, or religion.

The specific manner in which we carry out our mission is to:

Actively support community development with identified areas through programs and activities, which are planned and implemented cooperatively.

Provide disaster relief for the people of India in situations of natural crisis or chronic distress and to work with the people of India in the development of long-term solutions with those affected.

Promote mother & child health and survival, and to assist all children in reaching their full potential.

Develop and expand partnerships, which help promote the development of sustainable change in communities and in their standard of living.

Promote and expand the equitable and participatory involvement of women in the development process.

Advocate for and assist in the increased use of communities’ capacities to care for and responsibly manage their natural resources.
