This is a statement and proclamation of intent by the members of the African Youth Movement on the environment desirous of making a change for the good of the people of our continent in this generation and the ones to come since as youths we stand on the brink of adulthood, when many of us are making decisions about the direction of our futures.
1. Respecting and caring for the community of life that sustains me, and protecting ecological integrity.
2. Promoting a culture of democracy, social justice, and peace
3. Reducing my careless attitude to environmental and human resources
4. Be a campaigner for sexual abstinence as the panacea for HIV/AIDS
