Introduction
The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional organization that enhances knowledge and expertise by providinga neutral forum for technology exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, public education, and outreach to more than 9000environmental professionals in 65 countries.
Founded in 1907, the Association provides a forum where all viewpoints of an environmental issue (technical, scientific, economic, social, political andrisk assessment) receive consideration.
The Mission of A&WMA is to assist in the professional development and critical environmental decision-making of our members to benefit society.
