AP Foundation mission:

An estimated 10 million landmines are planted in Angolan soil; women and children comprise approximately 80% of Angolan post-war landmine victims. Our mission is to provide humanitarian assistance to thousands of amputated orphans in Angola. We also try to foster sensitivity and understanding of issues facing the maimed youth. Through education and outreach, we seek to challenge stereotypes and prejudice, creating an environment in which all young people can realize their full potential, free from the weight of hate and fear.
