The Animal Rescue League of Western PA Wildlife Center, founded by the Animal Rescue League of Western PA is a non-profit clinic for wildlife that exists solely on donations and grants, and the help of our dedicated volunteers. Our goal is to treat and release each patient back to the wild.

The Wildlife Center has treated thousands of patients since opening in 1997. Over 90% or the Wildlife Center patients come to us due to conflicts with man, such as being hit by cars, being attacked by cats and dogs, or being picked up as presumed orphans.

The Wildlife Center is a state and federally licensed rehabilitation facility. It is staffed by one licensed rehabilitator, along with approximately 20 volunteers. In addition, an experienced wildlife veterinarian helps out at the center.

The Wildlife Center admits all injured or orphaned native Pennsylvania wildlife. This includes birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians
