Asociación Fauna Forever (AFF) is a Peruvian not-for-profit organisation managing a series of research, training and conservation projects in the Madre de Dios region in south-eastern Peru, with a current emphasis on the Tambopata National Reserve (TNR), Bahuaja Sonene National Park (BSNP), Los Amigos private conservation concession and associated buffer zones.
Fauna Forever Tambopata (FFT) – AFF’s flagship initiative; a long-term wildlife, ecotourism and biodiversity monitoring project based in the Tambopata area of Madre de Dios aiming to (i) Monitor the population status of wildlife species; (ii) Evaluate the social and economic benefits of wildlife; (iii) Identify where there has been any significant unwanted human impact; (iv) Educate and inspire the growing number of ecologists by providing extraordinary Amazon wildlife encounters to volunteers from around the globe.
FotoForever (FoF) – a series of rainforest-based wildlife photography workshops that are set-up to run alongside the Fauna Forever Tambopata project (FFT) offering unique photo opportunities of Amazonian wildlife.
Bird Ringing Forever (BRF) – a series of bird ringing and banding courses managed jointly by Fauna Forever and the Center for Ornithology and Biodiversity (CORBIDI) aimed at training the growing number of local and international ornithologists.
