Butterfly Conservation is the UK charity working towards a world where butterflies and moths can thrive for future generations to enjoy.
The Cheshire and Peak District Branch was established in 1985 with the aim of promoting the conservation of butterflies, moths and their habitats in Cheshire and the Peak District.
Butterflies are excellent indicators of environmental quality and their conservation is intimately related to the preservation of all our flora and fauna. Through branch activities Butterfly Conservation aims to help reverse the decline of our butterfly and moth heritage and support the restoration of a healthy and balanced environment.
