The Carbon Coalition is a non-partisan coalition of citizens, scientists, businesses, students, communities and organizations who’ve come together to advocate for a national energy policy that protects our communities and environment from the ravages of global warming caused by carbon pollution.
What We Do
To us, climate is a moral, economic and national security issue.
Global warming is local, it’s here now, it threatens New Hampshire’s economic and community health and we believe the next president needs to have an effective plan.
Because of the presidential primary, New Hampshire is in a unique position to set the terms of national discourse.
To this end, the Coalition educates New Hampshire citizens about the local and global impacts of global warming through programs such as the Carbon Coalition Speakers Bureau, and promotes national and local action on climate change solutions through the Town Meeting Campaign and the 2007 Climate Change Conference.
