The Catskill Alliance for Peace was organized as an anti-nuclear organization. In the ’80s it concentrated on campaigns for a nuclear freeze and for a Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty and on matters pertaining to the disposal of low-level radioactive wastes. In the ’90s it has extended its concerns to environmental issues.
