The Endeavour Centre is a not-for-profit sustainable building school, offering full-time certificate programs and workshops on a wide variety of sustainable building materials, technologies and strategies.
Our Sustainable New Construction program runs from April-August each year, and gives participants a full-time immersion in the complete construction process for a full-scale, urban, sustainable building. Participants work with a wide variety of natural building materials, sustainable power and water systems and healthy finishes while working alongside leading practitioners.
Our Sustainable Renovations program runs from September-December each year, and gives participants a full-time immersion in the complete rehabilitation of an existing urban home. Participants work alongside leading practitioners while gaining experience with natural building materials, sustainable power and water systems and healthy finishes.
Our Sustainable Design program runs from January-March each year, and gives participants a full-time immersion in the complete design process for a real-life client. Working alongside experienced practitioners, participants create a complete set of construction plans, schedules and budget for a sustainable building.
Our workshop series includes a wide variety of day-long and weekend workshop in topics ranging from earthen plasters to designing your own home to timber framing and straw bale construction. Our workshops feature leading practitioners with plenty of teaching experience and projects designed to enhance the learning experience.
