World View of Global Warming is an independent documentation of climate change, climate science and the response to it. Founded in 2002 by conservation photo journalist Gary Braasch, the site is an archive of his work in 23 nations in all parts of the world to show what scientists are finding and what people and landscapes are being affected now by global climate change. Increasingly it also tracks some of the NGO and leadership responses to global warming and technologies and techniques being employed to lessen it.
The site is a frequent return on internet searches for global warming and climate change effects, and very commonly accessed by students and teachers around the world.
This site archives the source material for the book Earth Under Fire: How Global Warming is Changing the World, written by Gary Braasch and published with his photographs in late 2007 by University of California Press.
