The Young Naturalists’ Club of British Columbia is a special group of young people, age 5 – 14, and their families:

– who care about nature in this beautiful province of British Columbia;

– who want to know as much as possible about everything from the smallest beetle burrowing in the earth to the mighty eagle soaring over the forest;

– who want to make sure these creatures will always be here, sharing the planet with us.

We get young people and their families outside and excited about nature through our network of volunteer-led family and school clubs around the province.

Members receive NatureWILD magazine four times a year, the only children’s magazine that focuses on BC nature and environment. It contains articles written by leading BC naturalists.

In the magazine there are also games and puzzles, and stories about and from Young Naturalists who are undertaking exciting and challenging projects all around the province.
