Mission:
YCEP strives to empower youth and eliminate child labour and trafficking through a rights-based, community-centred approach, as an entry point for addressing the problem of poverty and underdevelopment.
Organisational Goals:
– To promote sustainable youth livelihoods by working with vulnerable youth populations to improve their access to knowledge, skills, attitudes and resources, which give them more control over their lives.
– To monitor, rescue and rehabilitate victims of exploitative child labour and trafficking, by employing a community-centred, rights-based approach.
– To carry out advocacy, conduct research, create awareness and build commitment among community members and the general public on youths and child rights issues.
