This website is dedicated to protecting southwestern Utah’s Zion-Mojave proposed wilderness and raising national awareness about the threats to this wild landscape. The ultimate goal is to preserve this natural treasure as a congressionally designated wilderness. The Zion-Mojave wilderness proposal would grant lasting protection to a magnificent landscape of towering sand stone cliffs, high desert mountains, and untrammeled stretches of rare Mojave Desert.

In order to preserve this unique area around Washington County, Utah, a coalition of national, regional, and local conservation organizations have joined in support of designating the Zion-Mojave as wilderness under the Wilderness Act of 1964. We hope you will enjoy learning about the Zion-Mojave proposed wilderness and join with us in protecting this spectacular landscape.
